Online vector editing with Raven
I’ve been playing with the beta of Raven, the on-line vector editing tool which has been launched by Aviary. I’m finding it pretty intuitive and capable, enough for me to consider signing up (around $9 for a month – the subscription brings privacy) to tackle a logo project.
I find the idea of sleek, functional on-line tools tremendously attractive. I’m sick of the whole ‘bloat-ware’ thing, with many of my day to day home and project tasks moved onto the collaborative Google Documents environment. I think a similarily collaborative, creative environment on-line could work very well for me.
Ewan Lauder is a highly motivated and hands on senior creative with 16 years professional experience in the design sector. He is currently based in the UK HQ of a successful IT Service Management software producer and vendor.
